Expanding training for young farmers, particularly women, to develop sustainable crop and livestock businesses that emphasize the importance of healthy foods.
Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (Plan Indonesia) brings 20 years of experience working with Indonesian youth to build a more just world. With support from the Citi Foundation, Plan Indonesia aims to develop its youth-led Agri Food Project, an endeavor aimed at improving food access for low-income children and communities through sustainable agriculture and livestock ventures led by young people. Aiming to benefit 3,730 people in 25 villages, the project will also create jobs for 400 young farmers, emphasizing female participation. These farmers will be at the forefront of managing eco-friendly food production, utilizing technologies like cloud collectors for water and solar panels for energy.
