Project Summary

Piloting a program in southeast Mexico to help low-income, indigenous farmers increase their earnings by introducing new crops which diversify their incomes.

Nuup is a Mexican nonprofit that seeks to accelerate the transition to prosperous and regenerative food systems that benefit small-scale farmers, their families, their communities, and the environment. With the support of the Citi Foundation, Nuup is working to enhance the food security and resilience of small-scale farmers, their organizations, and communities in the Southeastern states of Chiapas and Oaxaca.
