Born and raised in Haiti and very anchored in my country. I pursued college education up to Masters degree level in the UK, the US and Canada. My background is literary, artistic and managerial. Since my return in Haiti in the late 1980's, I have worked mostly with the non profit sector. For the past 29 years I have been immersed in building FOKAL, a wonderful, vibrant, foundation, and have the honor of becoming Executive Director since 2008. We are passionate about individual and collective processes of emancipation. We work with grassroots and civil society organizations. Culture and the arts are embedded in our work, from agriculture to education.
